Dr. Laura Ahmed PT, DPT
Physical Therapist — Bend Clinic
Laura grew up in Perrysburg, Ohio and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Centre College in Danville, KY. She went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University in Durham, NC in 2013. Since then, Laura has developed extensive expertise in concussion therapy and vestibular rehabilitation. She first served as an assistant program lead for a multidisciplinary concussion treatment team in Richmond, VA, and has been providing high-quality physical therapy care to the Bend and Central Oregon communities since 2019.
In addition to her clinical work, Laura has a strong background in teaching and mentoring. She has taught concussion coursework to clinicians and Doctor of Physical Therapy students and is dedicated to advancing education in her field. She also holds her Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) credential from the Brain Injury Association of America and co-facilitates a local concussion support group to serve the Central Oregon community.
At Aspire Physical Therapy in Bend, Laura is passionate about providing individualized care that treats the whole person. She emphasizes patient education, evidence-based treatments, and a collaborative approach to help patients achieve the best possible rehabilitation outcomes.
Outside the clinic, Laura takes full advantage of life in Central Oregon. She enjoys trail running, Nordic skiing, hiking, and exploring Bend’s parks and outdoor spaces with her husband and son.
