Dr. Dijana Marčić PT, DPT

Physical Therapist — Bend Clinic

Dr. Dijana Marčić’s path to physical therapy began unexpectedly when, while working as a mail carrier, she fractured her elbow and became fascinated with the rehabilitation and recovery process. Her curiosity about healing, movement, and patient recovery inspired her to pursue a career helping people regain strength, confidence, and independence in their daily lives.

Originally born in Bosnia, Dijana and her family fled to Croatia during the war in her childhood and later spent several formative years in Germany before relocating to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She completed both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees at the University of Pittsburgh. Her international background and life experiences allow her to connect easily with patients from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

At Aspire Physical Therapy, Dr. Marčić specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy and pelvic health rehabilitation for both men and women. She enjoys treating conditions related to pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary and bowel dysfunction, postpartum recovery, core and stability weakness, and functional movement impairments. She takes a practical, evidence-based approach to care, creating individualized treatment plans focused on restoring function, improving quality of life, and helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their bodies again.

Dr. Marčić believes in collaborative care and works closely with each patient to understand their personal goals, symptoms, and lifestyle needs. Her treatment philosophy emphasizes education, movement retraining, and empowering patients with tools they can use long-term for prevention and recovery.

Recently relocated to Bend, Oregon, Dijana enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, and gardening. She is fluent in Croatian and brings a culturally aware, empathetic approach to patient care, combining professional clinical expertise with compassion and personalized attention.
